Maureen Silliman

made her Broadway debut as Jenny Anderson in SHENANDOAH with John Cullum. 
She played opposite Liv Ullman in the musical I REMEMBER MAMA and was also in
IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? (Original cast recording). Off-Broadway, Maureen was in Anne Bogart's MARATHON DANCING, THE UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURG at the NY Shakespeare Festival, directed by Andrei Serban, in Charles Fuller's WE with the Negro Ensemble Company, ONE WEDDING, TWO ROOMS, THREE FRIENDS at Manhattan Theater Club, and the musical INSIDE OUT. She appeared in the original casts of three Craig Lucas plays: RECKLESS, THREE POSTCARDS and BLUE WINDOW (also on the West coast -- L.A. Drama Critics award and Dramalogue Award).


She toured with Shelley Winters in MARIGOLDS and Nancy Kelly in THE GINGERBREAD LADY, and played opposite Theodore Bikel in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.

Maureen has played leading roles with over thirty LORT theaters. Among them, Cincinnati Playhouse in GOING GONE and PURE CONFIDENCE (Cincinnati Acclaim Award) Huntington Theater Company in COMPANY and A CHRISTMAS CAROL, La Jolla in ZHIVAGO (dir. Des McAnuff), Old Globe in LOVES AND HOURS (dir. Jack O'Brien), Coconut Grove Playhouse in RAGS, THE ROTHSCHILDS and NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY, Delaware Theatre Company in A SHAYNA MAIDEL  and THE COCKTAIL HOUR, Theaterworks, in PRIDE'S CROSSING, Cleveland Playhouse in HEIDI CHRONICLES, Fulton Opera House in THE LITTLE FOXES, the Goodspeed Opera House in BLANCO and  A FINE AND PRIVATE PLACE,  and the two River Theater Company in THE REAL THING, UNCLE VANYA, BEAUTY QUEEN OF LENANE and THE GLASS MENAGERIE.  


Maureen received an award from the Manhattan Association of Cabaret for the CD "Pictures in the Hall."


Her film credits include BLUE WINDOW for PBS, RECKLESS, CHILDHOOD'S END, SANCTUARY OF FEAR (NBC Movie of the week) DIXIE: CHANGING HABITS (CBS Movie of the week) 6 RMS RIV VU with Carol Burnett and Alan Alda, episodes of LAW & ORDER, dozens of commercials, and two years on the CBS daytime drama THE GUIDING LIGHT.
